History,

The Samaroli Trinidad Carnival embodies the pinnacle of the art of blending. Bringing together two distinct rums from the prestigious TDL distillery, this blend offers a unique taste experience. The first, a Trinidad rum from 2009, matured for 5 years in ex-bourbon barrels, bringing sweetness and vanilla notes. The second, dating from 2006, was impregnated for 7 years with complex essences in an ex-rum barrel, enriching the blend with woody depths. Produced in a limited edition of 678 bottles of 70 cl at 50% vol., each sip transports you to the heart of the Trinidadian festivities. Let yourself be seduced by this exceptional aromatic journey.

Antonio Bleve talks to us about this edition of Trinidad An island of sprinters, pirates and explorers, the archipelago of Trinidad and Tobago has always been a discreet witness to the history of the Caribbean and its sea. Our hymn to freedom. "It is more difficult to maintain the balance of freedom than to endure the weight of tyranny" – Simon Bolivar

Tasting Notes,

Such timidity is still preserved in the current edition. A silently authoritative rum, which easily resonates with whisky. A support beam impregnated with chlorophyll and molasses allowing for further development. We recognize notes of undergrowth and that medieval fragrance reminiscent of the naves of Romanesque churches, or the first liturgical notes of an old book whose leaves are detached. These aromas then move with grace and lightness towards vanilla. In reality, it's a stracciatella ice cream with hints of licorice and dried fruit. Complex and comprehensive, its modesty is perhaps more the awareness that this is a great spirit. On the palate, it explodes into clusters of juniper berries and an unexpected and delicate sweetness, somewhere between butter and honey. On the finish, the sweet notes become rounded and softened until they are free of any form of expression.
