This single-cask Hamilton Demerara was distilled in 2014 at Diamond Distillery on the banks of the Demerara River, Guyana, through the historic wooden Savalle "Green Heart" continuous still, and bottled in September 2021 at full cask strength. Cask #9181 (mark MDLB) showcases the heavy, aromatic style of the Savalle still: deep molasses and burnt sugar, overripe banana, baking spice, and a distinctive oily, estery complexity, finishing long with oak, cacao, and Demerara character.
