This single-cask Hamilton Demerara was distilled in 2012 at Diamond Distillery, Guyana, through the historic wooden double pot still (mark MDV) — the same style of still that produced the legendary Port Mourant rums — and bottled in September 2021 at a fiery 66.5% cask strength. Cask #15213 delivers the deep, funky, phenolic character the wooden pot still is famous for: heavy molasses, burnt rubber and tar notes balanced by dark caramel, overripe fruit, and rich oak spice, with an exceptionally long, complex finish. Un-chillfiltered, no additives — a true collector's single cask.
