WINE ADVOCATE 93 POINTS - "Harvested from 20th September, the 1995 La Fleur de Gay has a ripe, inviting bouquet of redcurrant, freshly tilled earth, Moroccan leather and sage. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and good acidity. It is still quite backward and deserves further decanting that afforded here. Good depth of fruit, strict tannins, hints of roasted herbs towards the savoury finish that you might think contained a little Cabernet Franc (it does not.) Leave this alone for 7 to 10 years."(7/2013)
