Fermented with 100% whole clusters, aged in old tonneaux for eight to nine months and bottled unfiltered and without the addition of sulfites, the 2020 Trollinger Alte Reben shows a lively cherry color and opens with an intense, clear, fresh and spicy bouquet of cherries and red berries. On the palate, this is a light, elegant, fruity and charming red with sour cherry aromas, fine and crisp acidity and delicate spiciness. It's a gorgeous wine to drink slightly chilled as an aperitif or with lighter dishes.
