A delicious sweet wine, coming mostly from a mix of old vines (hence the term: "Alte Reben") ,planted in 1967 in the south-facing Röderchen parcel of the vineyard, plus a parcel of centenarian vines planted in the 1920s. This is a masterpiece of precision and ripeness. Sweet, juicy pear comes forth on the palate with a smidgen of citrus. Very small amounts are produced each year. Can be cellared for decades. 60+g/l RS, 10-11g acid, 7.5% alc.
