The Sanford Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir is always a blend from both of Sanford's estate vineyards: the historic Sanford and Benedict Vineyard (44%) and La Rinconada (56%). These singular vineyards are in the heart of the Sta. Rita Hills appellation. A wide range of Pinot Noir selections are planted on these sites, and this wine is a blend of 8 of these from several different soil types.

JEB DUNNUCK 93 POINTS - "Moving to the reds, the 2021 Pinot Noir Sta. Rita Hills comes from Sanford & Benedict and La Rinconada vineyards. Its medium ruby hue is followed by a brilliant nose of spiced raspberries, flowers, underbrush, and peppery herbs. It's medium-bodied, balanced, has a great texture, and is a beautiful, elegant, classy Pinot Noir that will drink nicely through 2031."
