To make this wine, Valpolicella Superiore wine is "repassed" on the pressed skins of the dried grapes that were used for their Amarone. This technique makes for a slightly more concentrated character relative to the standard Valpolicella Superiore. The resulting wine was then rested in French oak of various sizes, from 350L-3500L.
Vibrant flavors of plump red fruits, along with brown spices and subtle oak, with a medium-full body, fine texture, and a bright freshness balancing the soft fruitiness.
