This is a classic ripasso, made from a brief drying of the grapes (much less than for an Amarone), and allowing the resulting wine to re-ferment on the pressed skins that were used for Amarone.
JAMES SUCKLING 93 POINTS - "Mixed berries on the nose with hints of dried herbs that turn to a light balsamic note on the palate, to accompany the sweet, crushed berries. I like the balance of sweet and savory on the medium-full palate. The interest never flags. Tasty."

Extremely disappointing
Watery in both body and flavor and lacking a significant nose, this wine truly disappoints. Typically a ripasso is bold with lots of flavor; this reminds of Bibiano Graetz’s Bran Ca Ia, the lowest end of their wines that retails at about $5-10 less and drinks better than this.
