In 2013 Liquid Farm branched out from Sta. Rita Hills and began producing chardonnay from the “sister” AVA, Santa Maria Valley. Since its production is similiar to the White Hill, the winery considers this the “sister”; thus its name. Slightly richer, with more roundness than the White Hill, and a much more apparent profile of tropical fruits.
