Queendom 2022 is an exciting and enticing sparkling red with hints of red cherries, garden herbs, cranberries, and lingonberries. This is a blend of 50% Pinot Grigio, 10% Riesling, and 40% Dornfelder. All varieties are processed independently. Riesling and Dornfelder are both direct-pressed. For three weeks, every bunch of Pinot Gris is subjected to a semi-carbonic maceration. Based in the Mosel area of Germany, Katla Wines is the brainchild of winemaker Jas Swan. Jas has been in the wine industry for a while, having gained experience by working with other producers including Staffelter Hof. Jas is essentially harvesting all by herself as a one-woman crew. 10.5% ABV.
