HISTORY
Gwalarn, literally "North-west wind" in Breton, is the world's first premium Celtic blend. Benefiting from Celtic Whisky Distillerie’s unique know-how in the selection and blending of the best eaux-de-vie, it reflects the high standards and the rigor used to craft the distillery's prestigious single malts. We succeeded in combining the complexity of a scotch whisky with the character of a German whisky and the finesse of our French single malts.
PRODUCTION
For over 20 years, Celtic Whisky Distillerie has been successfully produced exceptional whiskies. After creating Kornog and Glann Ar Mor, the most successful Breton craft distillery in France reveals Gwalarn, a unique blend, from a selection of the best barrels aged on Celtic lands. Slowly reduced with the distillery's spring water, Gwalarn is a complex, authentic and audacious blend that fits perfectly into the Celtic Whisky Distillerie's collection of exceptional whiskies.
UNIQUE WHISKIES WITH A PRESTIGIOUS KNOW-HOW
Created in 1997 by the sea, in Pleubian, an extreme peninsula of the Côtes d'Armor, Celtic Whisky Distillerie is today one of the most successful distilleries in France. Pioneer in the elaboration of French whiskies, the secret of its success lies in the selection, the blending and the production of malted barley whiskies elaborated in the purest tradition: direct open flame heating, slow distillation, small onion-shaped pot stills... Celtic Whisky Distillerie favours quality and authenticity, offering a unique character and aromatic balance to its whiskies.

NOSE Rich and opulent
PALATE The promise perceived in the nose is kept with a clean and lively attack, supported by a slightly peaty character. The suppleness of vanilla and honey offers a nice smoothness in the mid-palate
FINISH Ample and singular, the peat sustained by the cereals, reveals pleasant saline notes
