ROBERT PARKER'S WINE ADVOCATE 94-96 POINTS - "Deep purple-black colored, the nose bursts with notions of boysenberry preserves, dark chocolate-covered cherries, blueberry compote and sassafras, with hints of Sichuan pepper and charcoal. The full-bodied palate is laden with densely packed black and blue fruit preserves, framed by soft tannins and just enough freshness, finishing with great length. Around 200 cases and a few magnums will be made."
