Gamay Blanc is really Chardonnay, as it's grown throughout the Burgundy department, including in Beaujoulais, the home of Gamay Noir! This comes from vines planted with their own roots (rather than grafted onto North American species), on sandy granitic soils in the cool-climate Empedrado part of Chile's Maule Valley.
