WINE ENTHUSIAST 94 POINTS - "Timorasso is one of the most distinctive white grapes in the Italian canon, and Vietti has struck gold. Aromas of fresh and baked yellow peaches and spiced pears mix with hints of petrol, magnolia and dried mango. Wild honey, beeswax and a limestone minerality give volume, complexity and depth to this wine, finishing with fresh and lifted acidity. Drink now–2035. — Jeff Porter"

JAMES SUCKLING 94 POINTS - "A beautiful timorasso with salted caramel, sliced mango, pear and apple aromas and flavors. Medium to full body. Bright and vivid acidity at the end. A lovely combination of ripe fruit and wild, crisp acidity. Vegan. About 30% aged in ceramic. Drink now."

The variety Timorasso is one of those that was in danger of disappearing from the wine world. Thanks to some passionate Piedmontese winemakers, we get to enjoy the distinctive qualities of the wines it can make. It tends to start its life with great restraint and subtley, but with years of bottle age develops like good white Burgundy and even dry, Groses Gawachs Riesling from Germany, with hints of dried honey and subtle "petrol" notes. Rounder and fuller in body than the average Italian white. "Pear and peach fruit scents. Aromas, of acacia and hawthorn flowers with typical honey notes. On the palate it is dry, warm, soft and very well balanced, without edges. It has a long lingering finish with a good acidity."- WINERY NOTES
Aging: 10 months in ceramic, wooden and stainless steel casks, on fine lees maintained in suspension with batonnage.
