The grapes came from the Curtis Vineyard in Los Olivos. They were foot stomped by Larry, fermented 100% whole cluster with their stems, pressed and then aged 16 months in 4+ year old French oak barrels, unracked until just before bottling. It is Larry's hommage to the Chinon region in the Loire Valley.
