The 2023 Estate Pinot Noir, which is a mix of Dijon clones and heritage selections with 777 and 667, along with some Swan and Pommard, shows a deep garnet/ruby color and complex medium/full bodied, silken palate of black cherry, dark berry, plum and candied orange fruits, along with hints of toasty oak with baking spices, cola bean, rose petals and lingering vanilla. The vintage’s cool toned personality adds a fine and elegant balanced velvety feel and lifts the purity of fruit, making for a wonderful age worthy Pinot Noir, that drinks well now.
