JOHN GILMAN 93 POINTS - "The 2021 Bousselots is a beautifully sappy example of the vintage this year. The gorgeous, black fruity nose jumps from the glass in a mix of dark berries, black cherries, coffee bean, venison, bonfire, dark soil tones, vanillin oak and a lovely topnote of currant leaf. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, pure and focused, with lovely depth at the core, impressive transparency and grip, seamless balance and a long, fine-grained and very promising finish."
BURGHOUND 91 - 93 POINTS - 'Note: from a .60 ha parcel of 40+ year old vines. Here a more restrained nose is aromatically similar to the Chaignots if not quite as spicy. There is more power and punch to the intensely saline-suffused middleweight flavors that also conclude in a moderately austere bitter pit fruit-inflected finish. Bousselots always requires at least mid-term cellaring to show its best and the 2021 version will be no exception. Recommended. *Outstanding*"
