Sweet floral overtones meld into a core of dried red cherry fruit, cedar, pipe tobacco, mint and crushed flowers. Deceptively light in body, the Langhe Rosso offers lovely tension and energy. This is a small-production, traditionally-styled Nebbiolo from the winery's Barbaresco and Barolo plots. Typically aged 2-3 years in large oak barrels, then cement around 2 years until bottling. It is released with an already-developing bouquet of drying cherries, balsam, pressed flowers, tobacco, and more.
