This Vermentino comes from the west coast of Sardinia, making for a thoroughly Mediterranean white. Here, the variety's zesty acidity is tucked into its body making it refreshing but harmonious and elegant in character. Aromatically, it's subtle and freshly toned, with notes of ripe citrus and subtle tropical fruits infused with blossoms and herbal hints. It's medium-bodied, with a classic savory edge and subtle nutty quality reminiscent of almond on the finish. Aged one year, mostly in stainless steel, around 30% in large, seasoned oak barrels (tonneaux).
