PUNTA CRENA 2024 MATAOSSU BIANCO "REINE"

From steep terraced vineyards in the hills above the small Ligurian town of Varigotti, tended to by this family winery and their ancestors for centuries, farmed according to their traditions. This is one of the few (possibly only) true bottlings available of the Mataóssu variety from Liguria, coming from a couple-acre vineyard originally planted in 1930. A refreshing, firmly structured wine with pleasant herbal and lemon-zest aromas and flavors. A lovely wine which pairs wonderfully with coastal food and vegetarian dishes. Unfiltered & unfined.
