History,
The Miyagikyo Distillery is distinct from Nikka’s other distillery, Yoichi, in several respects. It produces both grain and malt whisky, and makes heavy use of two sets of Coffey stills. This Fruity & Rich expression is an excellent example of what the distillery can do!
Tasting Notes,
Nose: Sweet scent standing like vanilla cookie, dry and strong turtle fragrance with an aesthetic. Over time it gets more fruity okay.
Palate: It is rich and thick, peppermint syrup and dry pineapple, oak flavor
Finish: Dry and spicy, long and gorgeous finish
