The high elevation of this CCOF-certified vineyard, as well as it’s specific coastal climate and surrounding vegetation, promotes complexity and herbal notes throughout Moon Hollow’s distinctive wines. Two-thirds of Moon Hollow’s vineyard is dedicated to Cabernet Sauvignon. Sunset oriented and above the fog line, these vines produce clusters of small-berried grapes, giving the wine an extraordinary complexity, deep color, and firm tannins with persistency on the palate. With dark berries, spice notes, and signature mountain herbs like sage and bay leaves at the core, this wine is a great conversation-starter and companion to flavor full dinner.
