WINE ADVOCATE - 90+ POINTS Picked at 76 Oechsle, the 2021 Mülheimer Sonnenlay Riesling Kabinett Feinherb is intense and lemon-fresh on the nose that shows pure and flinty fruit. Lush but clear and filigreed on the palate, with fine, crystalline and playful slate acidity, this is a remarkable, substantial and charmingly textured but frisky Sonnenlay Kabinett made in the medium-dry/sweet style. Bottled with 25 grams per liter of residual sugar and 9.5% alcohol, this is an excellent wine to have with food, particularly in 5-10 years. Tasted at the domaine in July 2022.
