Malahat's Cabernet Barrel Aged Rum has been aging for over two years in Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon barrels. Like all of their spirits, they made every drop from scratch at the distillery. They have bottled two barrels of the aged rum, and in their words: "They were the first two barrels we filled when we embarked on this journey. After many tastings and some very thirsty angels, not much was left, but it is available to you now."
This is the rum that won Best in Class and received a Double Gold Medal from the American Distilling Institute this year. The Best in Class Award means it was the best rum out of the over 650 spirits entered in their competition. Out of those 650 spirits, only 13 spirits won a Double Gold Medal. Get yours now!
