JAMES SUCKLING 95 POINTS - - "The wonderful nose of summer flowers and candied orange pulls you into this concentrated and well-structured Chambolle-Musigny. Lots of savory and earthy complexity here. Still needs time due to the chalky tannins at the long finish. Drinkable now, but best from 2025."

TIM ATKIN 94 POINTS - "Candied cherries, tangy lingonberries and punchy cranberries light up the nose of this Fuées. The palate is characteristically refined with drizzle-soft tannins and refreshing acidity gently encased in the mid-weight palate. The earthy length on the good finish adds intrigue. There is a crunchy tension to this overall though, and this could use a few years to loosen up."

BURGHOUND 91 - 93 POINTS - "This is aromatically similar to the Baudes but as is typically the case, it’s noticeably spicier. The highly seductive medium-bodied flavors possess a gorgeous mouthfeel along with a bit more minerality though not the same power, all wrapped in an even firmer, overtly austere and beautifully complex finale. Here too extended patience will be necessary as this is quite tightly wound."

WINE ADVOCATE 91 - 93 POINTS - - "The 2021 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Fuées (Domaine Louis Jadot) opens in the glass with aromas of sweet red berries, orange zest, rose petals and spices, followed by a medium to full-bodied, lively, concentrated palate that's taut and structured, concluding with a penetrating, mineral finish."
