ROBERT PARKER'S WINE ADVOCATE 91 POINTS - "An unusual blend of 75% Syrah, 22% Merlot and 3% Petite Sirah, the 2020 Alec's Blend is perfumed and floral, with scents of violets, blueberries, stone fruit and licorice—I suspect this will almost be too aromatic for some tasters. It's full-bodied, reasonably supple and creamy on the palate but then finishes with a touch of rustic tannin. Personally, I'd drink it on the young side, for those exuberant aromas. Best After 2023."

Alec's is named after one of Randy's Lewis' grandsons, and the Alec's blend is a unique wine in their lineup. This wine is always driven by Syrah, and combines varying amounts of Bordeaux varietals into the mix, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. Production is always quite small on this wine, and it is typically one of the first wines of the Lewis releases to sell out!

24 and there’s so much more – Neil Young nailed it with "Old Man" and the Lewis Cellars 2019 Alec's Blend sings with youthful, headstrong fruit character. 56% Syrah, 30% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 3% Cabernet Franc this year's blend is bursting with blueberry, black cherry, cola and chocolate flavors. Dusted with cocoa, floral and cedary spices, the wine stays fresh and gains impressive richness through the finish.
