Produced using Croation Marasca cherries
Whole cherries are open-air fermented without added yeast or sugar
Distilled in a hybrid copper pot still
Blended with a Montmorency cherry and coriander distillate
Sweetened using Colorado honey

Whole Marasca cherries, pit and all, are naturally fermented and distilled as an eau-de-vie to provide the base of this classic cocktailing liqueur. The eau-de-vie is then blended with a separate spirit made by distilling pitted Montmorency cherries from Traverse City, Michigan, as an eau-de-vie which is then redistilled with coriander. A far cry from the polarizing “cherry” liqueurs found on too many back bars and bar carts, Leopold Bros Maraschino Cherry Liqueur demonstrates the artisanal approach the distillery takes to its library of liqueurs.
