The 65-hectare biodynamically managed traditional winery has been family-owned since the 16th century, for as far back as records go. Therefore, it is not surprising that the main asset is its excellently situated vineyards with old vines. Today, the winery is run just as Grandfather Jean Vidal decided in the 1960s: strictly organic and terroir-focused, with each plot vinified separately. These decisions have made the work immensely challenging, but this is the only way to produce great wines with their own identity.
