Jean Lallement (pronounced Lall-Mont) is a tiny estate of only ten acres split between Verzenay and Verzy in the Montagne de Reims (both Grand Cru villages) along with small plots in the Premier Cru of Ludes. Alex Lallement believes that the terrior of Verzenay is more masculine and vinous, while Verzey is more feminine and perfumed. This 2015 is an exceedingly authoritative and harmonious old-vines blend or 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. Disgorged November 16, 2023.
