JOHN GILMAN 91 POINTS - "The 2023 Puligny villages bottling from Monsieur Carillon is a beautiful wine in the making, that will certainly be drinkable from the moment it is released, but really will deserve at least a couple of years in the cellar to blossom and show off some of its secondary layers. The bouquet is flat out gorgeous today, offering up scents of lemon, apple, chalky soil tones, citrus zest, acacia blossoms and a deft framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied, complex and nicely racy, with a beautiful core of fruit, lovely soil inflection, excellent balance and a long, focused and zesty finish.
