Produced from a mash bill of 53% Rye, 37% Corn and 10% Malted Barley, this sourced whiskey (rumoured to be from Barton or LDI) was aged for over two decades in second fill (used) barrels, so technically it's not legally a “Rye.” (Almost all American-made whiskies are aged exclusively in new oak). Old oak as opposed to new oak means less wood influence allowing rye's peppery spice to shine through. Even better, it's non chill filtered.
