Hexamer's Porphyr is named after the volcanic soil it is grown on... the soil gives the wine slightly softer acidity and a touch of flinty smoke. From Schlossbockelheim's volcanic terroirs, namely the Felsen and the Konigsfels single-vineyard sites.
