A somewhat muted nose requires aggressive swirling to coax cool and relatively high-toned aromas of essence of spicy and peppery red berries laced with a hint of tobacco, to reveal themselves. The utterly delicious, sleek and beautifully textured flavors possess a lovely sense of underlying tension, all wrapped in a balanced, dusty and sneaky long finish. What this isn't is especially complex but I like the delivery and another 2 to perhaps 3 years of keeping may allow it to develop better depth."
