GLENDRONACH BATCH #2 55.2% 700ML (B-2013) HIGHLAND SINGLE MALT SCOTCH WHISKY

A combination of the finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks have been selected by Master Blender Billy Walker to create GlenDronach's second batch of thier cask strength range. The first release was a global sell out of these richly-sherried expressions. Nose: Dark marmalade, treacle tart, kumquat, sappy oak wood, roasted nuts, nutmeg and clove, honey on brown bread, gingercake, brandy butter on christmas pudding, maple syrup. Palate: Big on sweet sherry and spicy oak, french toast, buttery malt loaf, kumquat/wxy orange, honey baked figs. Finish: Buttery oak, spiced fig jam, toasted spices, honey and blood orange marmalade, mocha, mixed nuts. Lots of chewy sherry oak here, christmas in a glass and another outstanding *GVFM Glendronach (* Good value for money)
