Always a welcome new release and batch 6 does not dissapoint, a great value for money cask strength sherry cask that is sure to sell out quickly like the other batches before it. Nose: Toasted teacakes with thick cut marmalade, treacle tart , gingerbread cake, toasted hazelnuts, sweet spicy oak and rich buttery caramel. Palate: Big spicy treacle, stem ginger, nutty fruit cake, old fashioned toffee, mocha and praline. Finish: Gingercake, honeyed nuts, sticky dates, creme brulee, praline and very long with sweet & spicy sherry oak.
