Nestled on a gently sloping knoll on the north edge of Yountville, Ghost Block vineyard is named in honor of the historic Pioneer Cemetery for which it borders. The vineyard is 16 acres planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, which is lovingly crafted into wine by winemaker Kristi Koford.
Winery's Tasting Notes: "The Ghost Block Vineyard was harvested on 9/12, two weeks earlier than usual. A supreme representation of Cabernet Sauvignon made by Kristi Koford with gorgeous fruit aromas of Black cherry, blackberries, black currant, and hints of cloves, licorice, vanilla, chocolate, and mocha give an extraordinary complexity framed by a firm but polished texture of fine grain tannins with the persistent acidity that elevates the experience. Decanted for an hour now and best from 2026."
