Single cask whisky produced with koji by Fukano Distillery in Hitoyoshi City, Japan Distilled from 100% rice (malted, unmalted, and koji) 21-day parallel fermentation with koji rice Single distilled in a stainless steel pot still Non-age statement; aged entirely in new white oak casks Each individual cask displays Fukano’s signature aromas of ripe fruit and toasted baking spice—think cinnamon-dusted strawberries and vanilla cream—with subtle, cask-specific notes that include caramelized pineapple, red apple skin, raw almond, and a whisp of charred oak on a long, umami-rich finish. Limited release of just 1,200 bottles (200 bottles from six single casks) Non-chill filtered; bottled at a cask strength of 42.6 % ABV (ABV varies cask to cask) For this release, Fukano selected six new-filled white oak casks. 200 bottles were drawn from each cask and the remaining whisky was vatted for the release of Fukano Select.
