DECANTER WINE AWARDS - BRONZE MEDAL (2021 VINTAGE) - This is a fruit-driven wine with floral and pear aromas and fairly zingy acidity.

This crisp, dry white opens with vivid notes of Fuji apple and elderflower on both the nose and palate, layered with citrus, hay, and nectarine, and finishing on a subtle chalky minerality. Mellow and effortlessly likable, it's a wine that's hard not to enjoy. A modest 12.5% ABV keeps it light and easy to drink on a hot summer day. The Grape
Grasevina — also known as Welschriesling — shares no relation to actual Riesling; the name is a centuries-old mix-up that still trips people up today. It's Croatia's most widely planted white grape, covering more than a quarter of the country's vineyard land, with its historic heartland in Slavonia.

At the region's far eastern edge lies Erdut, perched on the slopes of Dalj hill, where the Danube bends so sharply around the village that it nearly forms a peninsula. Vineyards here rise 130 to 190 meters above sea level on alluvial soil, gently sloping south. This is continental Croatia — a world away from the Adriatic coast — marked by harsh winters, scorching summers, and a river wide enough to temper both extremes.

Sourced from the Busija vineyard, a gently sloped site at roughly 460 feet in elevation with all-day sun exposure. After pressing, the must is cold-settled for 24 hours, then racked into stainless steel, where it ferments slowly over 7 to 10 days at a tightly controlled 59–64°F — a cool, unhurried process meant to preserve the variety's aromatic, floral character. Aging takes place in a mix of stainless steel and neutral old oak.

Serving & Pairing Best enjoyed chilled. Pairs beautifully with grilled or pan-seared white fish (sea bass, branzino, cod), oysters, calamari, roast or grilled herbed chicken, turkey or chicken salad, and spring vegetables like asparagus and artichokes.
