100% Blue Weber Agave Reposado Tequila | 40% ABV | 80 Proof | 4 Months in First-Fill Four Roses Bourbon Barrels | Additive-Free
Process & Profile
Dos Hombres Artesanal Tequila Reposado is a 100% Blue Weber Agave tequila crafted in Amatitán, Jalisco under Maestro Tequilero Julio Cova. Created by Dos Hombres co-founders Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, the Reposado expands the brand beyond mezcal while maintaining its focus on agave-forward spirits made without added flavoring or coloring.
The tequila is produced from slow-roasted Blue Weber agave and deep-earth volcanic water. After harvest, the agave is cooked using a combination of autoclaves and traditional brick ovens, then crushed by roller mill. Open-air fermentation incorporates native wild yeasts before the spirit is double distilled in copper and stainless steel stills.
The Reposado is then matured for four months in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels from Four Roses Distillery. The American oak adds vanilla, baking spice, and gentle toasted-oak character while allowing the cooked agave and mineral qualities of the base tequila to remain prominent.
Bottled at 80 proof, the finished tequila is smooth and balanced with an agave-forward core, warm vanilla, spice, and restrained bourbon-barrel richness.
Tasting Notes:
Nose: Cooked agave, vanilla, warm baking spice, and gentle toasted oak
Palate: Sweet roasted agave, vanilla, subtle pepper, baking spice, and lightly charred American oak
Finish: Silky and smooth with lingering vanilla, agave, gentle spice, and warming oak
