Viognier? No, thanks. Condrieu? Ah, okay, you’ve got my attention. Faury’s Condrieu? Well, why didn’t you say so in the first place? Fill ’er up! Much as one could argue that Raveneau does not make Chardonnay, but rather Chablis, I would say that Faury does not make Viognier, but rather one hell of a Condrieu, replete with huge apricot and peach aromas and a fresh, regal palate.
