From 1.2ha spread over a number of parcels at the foot of the slope on either side of the Route Nationale. The vines here were all planted in the 1930s and the gentle destemming, fermentation and moderate use of new oak have produced a wine with an expressive, floral-scented aroma of ripe cherries, and a texture that is silky yet dense, with an impressively long finish for a village-level wine.
