"NATURAL" WINE

Chardonnay 40%, Friulano 30%, Malvasia Istriana 30%
Fermented and aged on the skins for 60-90 days. This wine boasts an intense gold color which is given by the level of ripeness of the grapes at the time of harvest, by the low yield per hectare in the vineyards, by the increased skin contact during fermentation as well as the ageing method. The 2020 vintage was warm, with around 40% of the crop experiencing botrytis, lending a touch of richness to the mouthfeel and aromas, with hints of apricot, beeswax, incense resin (like Frankincense) and spices like ginger. A delicious wine that's easy to impress with its elegant texture, full body, mellow acidity and subtle aromatic melange!

This is texturally thrilling and soothing, enveloping the palate with ripe orchard fruits and savory herbal tones that resonate throughout. The 2020 leaves a staining of primary concentration, still youthful and tight-knit, ending with a spicy ginger hint. Kaplja is a blend of 40% Chardonnay, 30% Friulano and 30% Malvasia."
