Kicking things off in the warm, generous 2019 vintage was a dream. In a site already known for superior ripeness, the mild, even weather helped the grapes get just where they needed to be. At every step of the winemaking process, priority was to maintain the outstanding natural freshness in this wine, limiting exposure to oxygen and keeping cellar temperatures cool. Once-used French oak barrels and frequent lees stirring helped to add satisfying texture and richness to this refreshing, vibrant Chenin Blanc, without sacrificing the purity of its ripe, juicy orchard, citrus, and tropical fruit.
