CLOS DE GAMOT 2010 CAHORS

Clos de Gamot is an old vineyard of 25 ha, with only one grape variety: the Malbec. It has a superb “terroir” clay-siliceous, with pebbles and silex. The soil is worked by plowing, without weed killer, there are more than 10 to 12 farming ways per season. Manual harvest is necessary to pick grapes from the old vines. They are consistently produce elegant and perfectly balanced wines, with a solid tannic backbone but without any rustic character. Clos de Gamot also owns the largest collection of Malbec clones.
