We are thrilled to have another incredible Bordeaux value that offers a ton of bang for the buck as our wine of the month! This is a classic Bordeaux blend that ticks all the boxes: great fruit on the nose and palate, appropriate secondary nuances, fantastic body (tannins and acidity) to keep the wine fresh and moving forward. Best of all, it delivers just what you want in a delicious Bordeaux and it drinks way above its everyday price point. The nose exudes red and dark berries with a streak of midnight floral, currants, dark cherries and plum along with hints of spice, citrus and earth. Fruit fills the palate as well, with gorgeous reductions of cherries and plums that are kept fresh with excellent body-the well-integrated tannins and acidity make this one a natural for spring/summer grilling. Fruit leather, a touch of mineral, forest floor and dark spices add some background complexity-- but the fruit is the star of the show here!
