VINOUS 92 POINTS - "Lurid ruby-red. Ripe red and dark berries on the deeply perfumed nose, along with a suggestion of succulent flowers. Sappy, mineral-tinged black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors flesh out and become sweeter with air while maintaining urgency. Rich but energetic, finishing very long and appealingly sweet, with repeating dark berry character; supple, harmonious tannins lend gentle grip. This vintage's bottling is quite a bit richer than I usually expect from the Chanrions but that's the vintage for you."
