Chardonnay grapes grown in the bottom half of the valley tend to produce rich, ripe, elegantly structured wines that are delicious on release, but also age well in the bottle; this gem is no exception! And while the wine is aged in French oak barrels (of which 27% were new barrels), only 4% goes through malolactic fermentation in order to produce a full-bodied wine that's food friendly.
