WINERY NOTES: "A hymn to the bright delicacy of pinot noir, the Première Cuvée Rosé is named on account of its composition of only the first pressing. The Multi Vintage rosé, made with pinot noir, is created in two ways:
- White wine from pinot noir: after a quick pressing, and a fast separation of the skins, the juice is very pale and can be vinified as a white wine.
- Red wine from pinot noir is obtained by a prolonged maceration of the juice on the skins.
First pressings of mainly pinot noir with some chardonnay, the amount of which remains a secret. The blend is composed of reserve wines, 25 vintages, going back to 1985."

Salmon hue with hints of pink copper. Lots of red fruit on the nose: redcurrant evolves to wild strawberries, bright red cherries and floral violet. A hint of lemon from the Chardonnay. With age, the nose leans to darker red fruits: dark red cherry, fig, and blackberry. The palate reflects the nose with red fruit at full freshness with a bright, long finish.

WINE ADVOCATE 93 POINTS- "...aromas of peaches, wild strawberries, Griotte cherries and spices. Medium to full-bodied, bright and tensile, it’s concentrated and incisive. It concludes with a bright, long and penetrating finish."

JEB DUNNUCK 93 POINTS- "It’s fresh, floral and inviting, with aromas of tangerine, fresh peach, wild strawberry, and fresh roses. Medium-bodied, it’s graceful and pretty through the palate, with juicy fruit that fills the palate with a fluffy mousse and clean citrus finish. Although it should have a fair bit of longevity, it’s a very charming Champagne now, with a lot of versatility."
