Brandini is a small estate on Barolo's La Morra ridge, with cooler sites that offer a response to the region's rising heat levels. Purchased by Piero Bagnasco, former CEO of Fontanafredda and a co-founder of Eataly, he saw the future of Barolo through the eyes of his daughters: clean farming and traditional cellar practices, but with a finessed and precise winemaking hand. He passed the torch to his daughters, Giovanna and Serena, in 2018, and they are hitting a great stride with their latest releases!

KERIN O'KEEFE 95 POINTS - "Fragrant blue flower, pine forest, wild berry and cake spice are just some of the aromas you’ll find on the enticingly fragrant 2021 Annunziata from organic producer Brandini. The palate is delicious and elegant in equal measure, delivering ripe Marasca cherry, raspberry compote, tangy spiced orange zest, cinnamon and a dollop of vanilla. It’s nicely balanced ,with velvety tannins and fresh acidity..."

"These grapes are grown on a south/southwest exposition at 250m average altitude and crafted in a classical Barolo way with destemmed fruit and a fermentation that lasts around three weeks. From there it then goes into large Slavonian oak vats for 18-20 months without any racking until bottling." - THR SOURCE IMPORTS
